+ Account Manager (Entry Level)

Job Description

Omaha National is seeking an Account Manager to join our growing team.  This is an excellent opportunity to be trained into a key account management role. Strong communication and customer service skills are key to your success. Your training will cover our accounting, underwriting, claims, sales and payroll divisions. You will become an expert in every aspect of our company so that you are prepared to assist our customers. This position will coordinate closely with our Sales and Operations teams to ensure a positive onboarding experience for our clients, who consist of employers throughout the United States to whom we provide payroll services and workers’ compensation insurance.  Once our clients are established, the Client Services Manager will maintain and foster positive working relationships, resulting in favorable client retention. 

 

The ideal candidate is an organized professional with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.  Prior experience in payroll or workers’ compensation is not necessary – we will provide the training!

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Coordinate the onboarding program for new clients.
  • Serve as our primary contact to assist clients with questions or concerns, coordinating with other departments as necessary.
  • Positively contribute to client retention.
  • Participate in the development of policies and training materials.

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to develop and foster positive working relationships.
  • Ability to problem-solve and resolve conflict.
  • Aptitude to learn the key principles of payroll and workers’ compensation.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software and aptitude to learn other software applications

+ Customer Service Specialist

Job Description

Omaha National is seeking a motivated professional to join us as a Customer Service Specialist. Our Customer Service Specialists take calls from a wide variety of people including injured workers, employers, medical professionals, and attorneys and ensure that each call is handled appropriately, either by providing information and assistance or by routing the call to the appropriate individual within the company.

This is a pure customer service position; there are no responsibilities for selling, up-selling, or cross-selling. A small percentage of calls are individuals who may be upset; most callers are simply seeking assistance or information.

The ideal candidate has a welcoming personality and a natural desire to help people from a wide variety of backgrounds. Patience and empathy are key traits for success in this role, along with the ability to be politely firm when necessary. Successful performance requires the ability to learn information on a wide variety of technical topics and explain complex matters in simple terms. As the first point of contact of the company, the candidate should possess a clear speaking voice and proper spoken grammar.

Experience in workers compensation or payroll services is not necessary; we will provide the training and tools necessary for the right candidate to succeed in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Inside Sales and Marketing Rep (B2B)

Job Description

Omaha National is seeking determined Inside Sales and Marketing Representatives to join our team of committed, experienced leaders.   The ideal candidate is ambitious, passionate about building relationships, and driven to succeed.  Experience is not necessary; our in-house training will provide the tools necessary for the right candidate to achieve success.

Your goal is to build relationships with independent agents and brokers nationwide.  You educate brokers on our product offerings and coach them in determining strategies to sell our product to their clients.  A competitive base salary and high bonus potential allows you to focus on aggressively growing your book of relationships.  Successful Reps can expect to average $70-$80K their first year and continued financial growth moving forward.

Responsibilities: 

  • Prospect, educate and qualify independent agents and brokers nationwide to generate new business
  • Place outgoing calls to agents to follow up on new business applications and quotes
  • Successfully anticipate, recognize and overcome potential objections
  • Communicate pricing strategies to Underwriters and Sales Managers
  • Act as a trusted advisor to brokers by answering questions and providing solutions to meet their customer needs
  • Obtain a property & casualty insurance license and maintain an active status

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Aptitude for sales and relationship building with strong closing skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software and ability to quickly learn Sales software
