New Role Will Focus on Overseeing Claims Adjustment and Lien Resolution and Implementing New Strategies and Procedures
OMAHA, NE (November 22, 2021) – Omaha National Group, Inc. (“Omaha National”), a leading tech-enabled provider of workers’ compensation insurance and payroll services, today announced Anne Reed has been promoted to Director of Claims.
Reed previously created and managed the company’s claims analysis program. She will now oversee the overall claims operation, implementing the unique approach to claims management that produces low loss ratios while providing strong support for injured workers. She also plays an important role in the continuing enhancement of the proprietary enterprise software application, Oncore.
“Anne has deep knowledge of our approach to claims management, which is one of the greatest drivers of our success,” said Omaha National President and CEO Reagan Pufall. “She is the ideal person to lead the continued growth and development to this important operation.”
“It’s exciting for me to take on this new role as the company grows,” Reed said. “The level of talent in the claims department here is truly exceptional; it’s a privilege to be leading such a strong team.”
In September, Omaha National raised $45 million in Series B funding from investors Accomplice, HighSage Ventures and Tull Investments. In October, the company also added technology, finance, and insurance industry strength to its Board with four new directors.
