Claims Adjuster (Experienced)

This is a rare opportunity to join an industry-leading workers’ compensation insurance company as a claims adjuster.   • Determine coverage and compensability for reported claims
  • Accurately set reserves, ensuring that timely updates are made with claim developments
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory deadlines, benefit calculations, state reporting, and benefit notices
  • Achieve favorable settlements through timely identification of settlement opportunities, accurate settlement valuations, and effective negotiation practices
  • Direct vendors such as field nurses, investigators, and defense attorneys to positively impact claims outcomes


  • Ability to shift away from industry conventional thinking and readily adopt our innovative and highly successful approach to claims adjusting; this is a significant transition that many adjusters are unable to make
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a broad audience of varying backgrounds, frequently conveying complicated information in a way easily understood by a layperson
  • Ability to rapidly learn other software programs including unique, proprietary applications
  • Experience as a workers compensation claims adjuster; there is no minimum number of years of experience, the position is commensurate with experience
